I was buying fabric dye with bitcoin and unfortunately this address by happenstance looks similar at a glance to the address I was sending to and I didn't scrutinize. A little research later and found out about Colormania (check your taskbar processes). No idea how it arrived, I've always been security-minded on my PC. I bombarded my computer with anti-rootkit resources and neutralized it and it no longer substitutes wallet addresses on my clipboard (for now; I have to be ever-vigilant obvs)

I filed a support claim earlier about some random address being copied to by clipboard every time I tried to copy my own receive address to my clipboard. When I pasted it, it became some different address, this being the one in case (3GbPC5S4STGnDvihg4fHwTrxkVp229xjy6). I started investigating a bit and realized every valid bitcoin address I copied turned into this one once I pasted it. I omitted the very first character and copied / pasted it and it turned out normal. But once it was a completed address and I copied and pasted it, it instantly became this one again : >3GbPC5S4STGnDvihg4fHwTrxkVp229xjy6<
I filed a support complaint but I doubt I will get my money back.
