My story is pretty much like the other one. Robert roped me in on Instagram. We chatted many times a day and exchanged Photos. He is an excellent scammer. I thought I did my due diligence but lost close to $10,000. I’m sure many people have fallen prey. I’m sure he’s using a fake name and photos. He’s a master at this. He said this was a bitcoin mining operation with the actual computers in China because its a cheap source of electricity.

Hello, I believe I've fallen victim to a scam/fraud as I was asked to invest in cryptominig via the blockchain using the Coinbase app as the transfer platform. In total "invested" over $2,461.00 and the person who took said this was a legitimate investment has blocked me from all communications and has stolen my money. His name is Robert Willock. Robert first reached out to me in July of this summer via Instgram (@miner_ceo_rob) and I thought he was a friend of a friend, which I thought was a legitimate person and could count on the investment being legitimate. The two major transactions were completed over the course of two months as Robert had stated with a minimal investment he could grow the account by double as the market for bitcoin was going up which was extremely enticing with covid impacting me and members of my family. I've since reached out to my bank JP Morgan Chase and to Coinbase to reverse the charges, but have been told that I cannot by either. I've also reached out to Instagram to report the account and gather information about who actually reached out to me. Also, I have a picture and some account information from both Coinbase and Instagram about Robert. Hopefully this information is helpful, as Coinbase requires a photo id and additional information to transfer large funds. The two addresses from Coinbase of the accounts the money was sent to are: 3QvBCwCanMkA2C9NMSTEgNzNdJhAe8tkmo 3GgnUigi89XrcaQtao8DAmMvsBL2wLtMMb The link to his Instagram has now been deleted, but I'm more than happy to hop on a phone call and explain this information at length and provide any additional information.
