had an old password and claims to have infected my computer and used my camera to record me doing something inappropriate. wanted $1200 to not send the video to family and friends. letter had bad english and other telltale signs of scam. since I have no camera on my computer I was not really concerned, but it is still upsetting that they had an old password.
