Still wondering how is that possible? Well, you have been infected with malware originating from an adult website that you visited. emails from the victim’s own email address, but has not actually hacked it and it is spoofed. claims to have hacked your computer “or other device” and that they have recorded a 2-side video of the victim watching an adult video, and the video itself. claims that they have access to the victim’s contact list and threatens to send the video to the victim’s contacts if they do not pay the ransom within 2 days, or if the victim tells anyone else about the threat. uses lots of vague language about what exactly they have done, making it applicable to a number of situations. clearly does not have any actual info, and is just trying to scare the victim into paying. definite scam.
