This cyber crook targets the inboxes of email users with scary messages that say that a nasty ransomware infection is going to infect their computers if they don’t pay 0.1 Bitcoin or $650 as a ransom within 48 hours.
People are getting messages that if they don’t pay a ransom in advance, their computer will be locked down from further access. The message further claims that the malware has already been pushed to the would-be victim’s computer and might erupt at any moment. And once the payment deadline passes off their files will be encrypted and lost forever.
