After 4 months of this shit non-stop (sometimes as much as 12-15 messages a day), it had been nearly 5 days since I got one of these, so I though they had finally given up this bullshit scam. I guess they are starting again..same old BS. 3 came through just now, will probably have a few more by morning (they usually come in batches of 6 or so at least from the same Bitcoin account). The only solution is to SHUTDOWN BITCOIN!!! It is a phony "currency" and a haven for criminals, but it seems governments don't care. Reporting here and to FBI cyber-crime division does nothing, but at least it helps notify others that they are not alone and many are getting the same BS scam emails. I hope no one falls for this shit.

Just got the third one today using the same bitcoin address. Who in their right mind would pay these idiots just because they claim to have access to their computer? They should prove they have the video by sending it to your victim first. But they won't do that because it is all a hoax.
