Same scam as usual for the past 4 months. SHUTDOWN BITCOIN!!! It is a fraudulent "currency" and a haven for criminals. To the guy just below wondering if they really have access to his email: No. It is a scam, anyone can spoof a "from" to make it look like it came from yourself. The got your email and perhaps and old password from some data breach, and are trying to scare you into thinking they have access to not just your email but your whole computer, internet records, etc. They are lying scum.

I wonder how they manage to send me an email that appears to have been sent from my own email address, does he actually have access of the server, if so he can wreak havoc and that is what worries me, i have 15 years worth of emails, private and work related. Can somebody shed some light? Other than that the text is exactly the same as has already been posted here.
